Merino

To properly care for your merino wool please wash your garment in cold or lukewarm water ( below 30’C/86’F) by hand or on a gentle cycle in your machine. Use wool-safe detergent. Dry the garment laying flat away from direct heat .Please avoid tumble drying; it may cause shrinkage.

Possum Merino

This beautiful fiber needs extra care. Please hand wash your garment in lukewarm water (below 30’C/86’F). Use a small amount of wool-safe detergent . Gently rinse well. You can roll in a towel to absorb extra water before laying flat to dry. Possum merino blankets and throws don’t need frequent washing - a simple airing out will help to keep them fresh. You can also dry clean your garment or throw.

Sheepskin

Rugs - regular brushing, vacuuming and spot cleaning. For spot cleaning use a damp cloth and mild detergent to lift the stain then rinse with cold water. Completely washing sheepskin items - hand wash in cold water with wool-safe detergent. Use cold water to thoroughly rinse your item. Let it dry naturally, occasionally stretching into shape. Once dry, brush to restore to its normal look.

Tweed Wool

Tweed should be washed as infrequently as possible and can be hand washed in lukewarm water, mild detergent and gentle pressing to remove water, followed by air drying .

You can also dry clean your garment or throw.

Felt

Wool felt must be hand washed with care as washing and agitation will cause it to continue to shrink. Also color fastness can vary and color bleeding or dye migration can occur.

Linen

Linen should always be washed in cool or lukewarm water on a delicate cycle and using a gentle detergent. To get a smooth finish iron linen while still damp.
