Actually the story starts with two of the great Kiwi traditions, a love affair and the O.E. However, in this case it started from the other side of the world (England) and wound up here in New Zealand!

I fell in love…. clean oceans, big sky, majestic scenery and friendly people, I knew I had met my soul mate when I met New Zealand.

With a passion for textiles and crafts (having a mother who sewed for “all the family”) I embarked on the dusty, bumpy, adventurous, soul searching and ultimately rewarding road of building the business Jill Main New Zealand.

Knight of New Zealand Ltd was originally founded in 1972 under the name Knight Tailors Ltd.  We are a small manufacturing unit with a team of 30 staff who work to very high standards.

Our garments are designed to a brief of timeless style to work with today’s fashion and be comfortable and easy care.

Sheepish

SHEEP-ish Design was born from our obsession with felt. We love everything about designing with wool - the look and the feel, while supporting the New Zealand wool industry. Our designs add a beautiful textual element to any space.

Weft's product lines are knitted and made on its own high technology knitting plant. A strong company ethos of product design and development, product quality and customer service are very important to all those who work for Weft. Weft Knitting Co Ltd. was established in 1982 here in Christchurch, New Zealand.
